SECTION 3--JOB CLASSIFICATIONS


Preparation: The Library Director shall prepare the job descriptions and/or classifications of all positions within the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library system and shall determine a basic salary for each classification with the approval of the Board of Trustees. All positions shall be described in detail as to duties and responsibilities in order to more easily determine the qualifications necessary for employees or applications of any position.


New Classifications: When new positions are created the duties of the position shall be studied and a job description and classification shall be prepared to cover the position.
