13.2 EXIT INTERVIEW

It is recommended that exiting employees complete an Exit Interview form on or close to their last day of employment. The form should be sent to the Library Director at the Regional Office. In addition to the written form, resigning or retiring employees may also elect to participate in an exit interview conducted by the Branch Supervisor or Library Director sometime during the last week of employment. The exit interview provides the separating employee with the opportunity to give candid input about their position, supervisor(s), and overall experience as BLRL employees. This input is valuable to the Library, and employees are encouraged to give honest and constructive feedback.

The employee may elect to have the content of the exit interview remain confidential or be shared with appropriate other parties.
