8.2 PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS

Evaluation forms are a tool to help employees grow and develop strong work habits. Evaluations will be done each month during the initial employment period and once a year thereafter in the month of December. Branch supervisors are responsible for giving an objective and true evaluation of each of the employees under their supervision. The Library Director will review all employee evaluations with his/her immediate supervisor. If there is a question about an employee’s evaluation, it will be addressed at this time.

The Library Director is responsible for evaluating each branch supervisor. Evaluations will be discussed with the employee, and both the supervisor and the employee must sign the evaluation form. A photocopy will be provided for each employee. Original evaluations are kept in the personnel file at the Regional Office.
