New Pandemic Guidelines at the Library


Pandemic Guidelines—Revision, May 20, 2021


Staff and patrons who are vaccinated are no longer required to wear a mask. All unvaccinated staff and patrons are encouraged to wear masks or face shields.


Staff and patrons will not be required to show proof of vaccination.


Curbside service, online databases, and outside WIFI are available for all patrons who aren’t comfortable with our masking policy.


There are no longer capacity or time limits for our branch locations. Desktop computer use is for 60 minutes at a time per patron per day.


Patrons are still encouraged to practice social distancing.


Hand sanitizer and face masks will be provided to patrons as needed.


Patrons will not be able to enter the building if they display signs of illness.


Patrons may request curbside/pickup service.


Meeting room use and library programming may be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Because the meeting room spaces are smaller there are capacity restrictions. Please check with branch staff for capacity rules. If all participants are vaccinated they are not required to mask, but must still socially distance. If any participants are unvaccinated then all participants must mask and socially distance. Library and outside groups are required to wipe down all surfaces after use. Cleaning materials will be provided.


Children’s toys will be provided on a limited basis at each location upon request and will be

cleaned after each use.

Cassville Monday – Friday 8:30-5:30, Saturday 9:00-1:00

Eagle Rock Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-5:30

Marionville Monday, Wednesday – Friday 8:30-5:30

Miller Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-5:30

Monett Monday – Friday 8:30-5:30, Saturday 9:00-1:00

Mt. Vernon Monday – Friday 8:30-5:30, Saturday 9:00-1:00

Pierce City Monday, Wednesday – Friday 8:30-5:30

Shell Knob Monday, Wednesday – Friday 8:30-5:30
