Updated: Mar 21, 2018

"There is something for everyone, no matter the age, at the Barry Lawrence Regional Library."

"I have to admit since I graduated I was not making a lot of time to read, but reading to my boys was the doorway back to reading." Says S. Young a 30ish mom of 2 rambunctious boys. She continues "If you have a job, home, and kids to take care of you know how busy it gets. I not lucky enough to stay home with the kids; I love my job, my house, and my kids but its a lot of things to keep up with. But, I always make a point go to the Library about once a week to get books for our nightly storytime with my boys. One night my boys both sell asleep on the couch before our bedtime story, I found that I was really bummed out. I wanted to see what happened in the next chapter, even though it was a sort of silly kids book. This made me realize I needed my own "bedtime story." My next weekly trip to the library included a looking for a book for me the read after the boys are tucked in. I did not know where to start. I did not even know what type of books I was interested in, but I was really surprised how the librarians were really knowledgeable and time helping me took time to help me find books I would love." When ask what she wanted to make sure people know about the library, she stated "There is something for everyone, no matter the age, at the Barry Lawrence Regional Library."
