JOB OPENING, PART TIME AURORA LIBRARY

AURORA BRANCH—PART TIME CUSTODIAN

Part time custodian position (9-12 hours per week) available beginning immediately at the Aurora Branch Library.  Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning the public and staff areas inside the branch (mop/vacuum floors, empty trash, clean toilets, etc.), cleaning the outside of the branch (sweeping sidewalks, removing litter, etc.), and minor maintenance (changing furnace filters, changing light bulbs, etc.).

Desirable experience, education and training--Graduation from high school is required.  Experience and training in custodial work, maintenance work, and the knowledge and skills to perform minor repairs preferred.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, benefits are NOT included.  Branch hours are Monday–Saturday 8:30 – 5:30. Must possess the ability to perform duties before the branch opens or after the branch closes.
