We just installed 30 new computers and 30 new monitors for Library patrons' use. We already have them installed ready for you across the library district. At the BLRL we think it's crucial that the public have access to up-to-date computers. Every week people use Library computers to fill out job applications, file paperwork, do research, and do thousands of other important tasks.
Library staff was able to secure an L.S.T.A. Grant (Library Services and Technology Act Grant) which paid for 75% of the new computers. This is just one example of how we make the most of our resources at the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library.
