Scott Fitzpatrick will be our guest in Cassville for "Leaders as Readers"

Updated: Jan 10, 2020

On January 23rd, State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick will make time to read to local kids this month. The Cassville Branch of the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library will host the event at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 23rd.

Over his years of public service, Mr. Fitzpatrick with his family have been active patrons of the BLRL. So the library is especially pleased to be welcoming this distinguished member of our community as part of the Leaders as Readers Program.

This library program has a focus on inspiring kids with books, reading, and positive role models. Also showing children that even the very top leaders in our community will take time to read to them. No matter how busy we are, Library story-times and all reading to kids is vitally important and worth our personal investment.

Visit blrlibrary.com/library-events to find a storytime near you.

The schedule is limited; if you are a community leader interested in scheduling a time to be part of the ongoing Leaders as Readers Program, please contact Greg Brown at Greg@blrLibrary.org
