Library Wins Grant To Purchase New Network Components!

The Library received $14,018 in LSTA grant funds for Network Firewalls & Switches. "By working to get these grants, we can do much more for the community, and that's what we care about; We try to make the most of our resources," says Lee Anne Santee, Computer Tech for the BLRL. Every year BLRL Staff secure multiple grants like this one for various projects; these grants help offset our costs and allow the library to have a greater impact in the communities we serve. Our mission is connecting people to the transforming power of knowledge. The Barry-Lawrence Regional Library received an LSTA Grant to assist with the replacement of Firewalls and Switches at 9 locations.

This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
