18 New computers and monitors were purchased in April to replace aging Library computers. The new computers will help patrons search for, check out, and request items. The goal of this grant project is: "Ensuring the library has updated technology is necessary in providing the best possible library service to our community."
The LSTA funds totaled $16,178, and the library paid $10,786. The total project cost was $26,964 and is one more example of how the BLRL is always working to provide more resources to our friends and neighbors within our local community.
This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. IMLS grant Grant Named: Computer Replacement Spring 2023 with the Grant Number: 2023-LBE3-TLD23-90
