About the Purdy Library:

The Purdy Branch Library was established in 1976. The library shares building space with the Purdy Community Center. Population of the community is approximately 1,000. A unique feature of Purdy is that it is located on a watershed, or divide, where the water flows both east and west.

The Purdy Branch Library in Barry County is located at the intersection of Highway C and Fourth Street. The library has approximately 10,413 volumes.
